Pre-race triathlon clinics
We are excited to offer a pre-race clinic to get you familiar with the course, triathlon, and the area! We will cover basic USAT rules, transition, and some helpful tips to help you prepare for your race in November! Beginner or experienced, we have something for you!
This year we are offering FOUR clinics and TWO different options!
AVILA SWIM CLINIC 8am @ Avila Pier – Learn how to tackle ocean swimming guided by experienced Avila Beach Lifeguards! Avila is the perfect environment for beginners as well as those that want to take it to the next level. Generally small surf and ocean currents make for ideal learning and training. Learn how to quickly and safely enter and exit the water. Learn tricks to sight better and get more comfortable in the ocean. Guaranteed to make your swim in the triathlon a more enjoyable experience. WET SUITS ARE REQUIRED!
MORRO BAY TRI CLINIC 7am @ Coleman Park – Full Tri Clinic will take you through the entire Sprint Distance Triathlon! Be prepared with the appropriate gear(gear list below)! Please keep in mind that this is a group clinic and not a race!

* Arrive bike-ready for the Intro/TA Clinic. Bring a sweatshirt in case it is cold standing around. I will verbally explain the triathlon transition, and we will practice it if we have time at the end of the clinic.
** We will have the swim clinic at the end of the clinic
