4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Packet Pickup (packets are not mailed)

NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS. – USAT RULE
You must pick up your own packet; relays only need one person per relay to check in
Under no circumstances may an athlete pick up a packet for another person.

Saturday, October 31, 2026 – Packet Pick-Up: 
COLEMAN PARK, MORRO BAY

4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Packet Pickup (packets are not mailed)
5:00 pm to 5:30 pm Pre-Race Briefing/Q&A Session (meet in front of Packet Pickup area).

If you rented a kayak through us, it will be staged for you on race day.

Sunday, November 1, 2026 – Event Day: 

ALL PARKING MUST BE AT THE MORRO ROCK PARKING AREA

Coleman Park, Morro Bay – Start, finish and transition areas are all located here.

6:00 am Transition opens. Kayak/SUP staging opens. Packet pick up opens. Arrive early to ensure parking and ample time to set up your tri gear.
7:45 am Transition Closes. Packet pick up closes.
7:45 am Pre­-Event Briefing
8:00 am Waves begin
7:00 am Festival Area opens
12:00 pm Awards

8:10 AM WAVE 3 Olympic (Male 34 and under) BLUE Cap
8:15 AM WAVE 4 Olympic Olympic (Male 35 and older) RED Cap
8:20 AM WAVE 5 Olympic (Female and Relays) PURPLE Cap
8:25 AM WAVE 6 Sprint (Male 34 and under) BLACK Cap
8:30 AM WAVE 7 Sprint (Male 35 and older) ORANGE Cap
8:35 AM WAVE 8 Sprint (Female 34 and under) PINK Cap
8:40 AM WAVE 9 Sprint (Female 35 and over + Relays) GREEN

*you will receive swim caps at packet pickup

Festival Area:

7:00 am-1:00 pm | Open to the public, so it’s a great place for spectators and members of the public to hang out before, during, and after the race. We’ll have the best views of the Finish Line and food trucks, vendors, non­-profits, race merch, and more!

10:00 am-1 pm | Beer and Cider: For those 21+ (athletes and general public), join us for a cold alcoholic beverage! Must show a valid government ID.
Each 21+ MB Tri participant gets a free beer/cider on us. For those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, we will have some options available.
