Morro Bay, with its rugged rock rising out of the sea against a backdrop of rolling hills and a peaceful estuary, is not your ordinary triathlon location. It’s a constant feast for your eyes and your body, as challenging as it is beautiful.     

Kids Distance
200M Swim | 10K Bike | 3.2K Run

An out and back swim on the south side of Morro Rock.

Bike: (Coming Soon)
Obey all traffic laws  http://www.santabarbaratriathlon.com/Images/warn.gifthis is an open course

  1. Start on Embarcadero heading towards downtown
  2. Turn left on Beach St (a short but steep hill)
  3. Turn left on Main St and under HWY 1
  4. Head north on Main st bike path
  5. Turn left onto HWY 41 under HWY 1
  6. Turn left onto Atascadero road and enter the bike path
  7. Merge onto Main St
  8. Turn right on Beach st (Carful of the steep downhill)
  9. Turn right on Embarcadero
  10. Turn right into the Bike/Run TA

Use extreme caution since roads are open to vehicle traffic. Ride single-file to the right at all times, except when passing (pass on the left only).

Run: (Coming Soon)

Awards will be given to all finishers and the first, second and third place winners. Awards will be presented on the main stage Sunday afternoon.
